Actress Lily Collins has officially announced her role as the legendary Audrey Hepburn in a new film that explores the making of the classic 1961 romantic comedy, Breakfast at Tiffany's. The British star, known for her fashion sense, will portray the character of Holly Golightly, a socialite who encounters a struggling writer after he moves into her apartment building. In a heartfelt message on her social media, Collins expressed her deep admiration for Hepburn, stating it has been a 'lifetime of admiration and adoration for Audrey'.

The screenplay is penned by Alena Smith and is inspired by Sam Wasson's nonfiction book, Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the Dawn of the Modern Woman. Collins also shared nostalgic images showcasing her homage to Hepburn's iconic style, including memorable looks from her popular Netflix series, Emily In Paris, where she donned an all-black outfit during a skiing scene, paying tribute to Hepburn's fashion legacy.
