Mumbai, Sep 8: After her triumphant journey on the reality series ‘The Traitors,’ television star Krystle D’Souza returned home to an emotional surprise that left her deeply touched.
Her close friends, including Rithvik Dhanjani, orchestrated a heartfelt welcome for her. Krystle took to Instagram to share a glimpse of this touching moment, noting that she typically keeps her personal life private. However, this particular experience had been significant to her for months, prompting her to share it with her followers.
Reflecting on the surprise, the actress known for ‘Ek Hazaron Main Meri Behna Hai’ expressed, “I’m not one to share very personal moments here, but this one has been in my heart for so long… and I can’t keep it to myself any longer. As real and raw as it gets, I came home after winning The Traitors to this surprise from my girls. (Yes, Rithvik is also one of us).”
Krystle disclosed that her friends had secretly entered her home and set everything up before her arrival. Completely oblivious to their plans, she was overwhelmed by their thoughtful gesture.
“I had no clue; they sneaked into my house and organized all this before I got home, and honestly, this moment means more to me than I can express,” she shared.
“This is where I get my ‘girls’ girl’ spirit from. From women who uplift each other, celebrate one another, and genuinely want to see each other succeed. Yes, I know I’m an ugly crier, but at this point, who cares about appearances! I won the show, yes!!! But did I win in life? Absolutely yes,” Krystle added.
The video captures the actress in tears as she absorbs the surprise arranged by her friends. As they cheer her on and celebrate her victory, Krystle cuts a cake and later joins in the festivities by dancing with her friends.
Krystle D’Souza was crowned the winner of “The Traitors” India Season 2 alongside fellow contestant Rida Tharana. The grand finale of the Karan Johar-hosted reality show took place on September 3, 2026.
