Recap of 'Bhediya'

What Was 'Bhediya' About?
Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, and Amar Kaushik previously teamed up for 'Bhediya', which hit theaters in November 2022. This horror-comedy revolves around Bhaskar (played by Varun), a road construction worker who gets bitten by a wolf while on a project in Arunachal Pradesh.

After the bite, he starts transforming into a werewolf. Kriti portrays Anika, a veterinarian who is more knowledgeable about the strange events than she initially reveals. Additionally, Varun made a cameo as 'Bhediya' in 'Stree 2', released in 2024, where he saves a character played by Shraddha Kapoor. In 2025, Maddock Films announced 'Bhediya 2', slated for an August 2026 release, but updates have been sparse due to project delays.
