Kayadu Lohar Addresses Viral AI-Generated Image Amid Film Controversy
Kayadu Lohar's Viral Image Sparks Debate
A recently circulated image of Kayadu Lohar showcasing an undercut hairstyle has taken the internet by storm, leaving fans both intrigued and doubtful. With anticipation building for her upcoming Malayalam film Pallichattambi, questions arose regarding the authenticity of this striking look, particularly since the actress had not shared it on her social media platforms. Kayadu has now spoken out to clarify the situation.
AI-Generated Image of Kayadu Lohar Goes Viral
Known for her role in the film Dragon, Kayadu Lohar is gearing up for her appearance in the Malayalam movie Pallichattambi alongside Tovino Thomas. An image of her in a saree with an undercut hairstyle recently went viral, drawing mixed reactions. While some fans praised her daring new style, others questioned its authenticity. The skepticism grew as Kayadu had not posted this image on her Twitter or Instagram accounts, leading many to suspect it might be fabricated.
In an interview with Galatta, Kayadu addressed the circulating image, stating, “I did see that image, I don't know what I can say about it.” She confirmed that the look was not associated with any film project and revealed that the image was indeed AI-generated. Clearly uncomfortable with the speculation, she dismissed the rumors about her hairstyle. Tovino Thomas also commented on the growing challenge of distinguishing between AI-generated images and real ones.
Legal Issues Surrounding Pallichattambi
In addition to the viral image, Pallichattambi is currently embroiled in legal complications. A businessman based in Dubai has filed a petition with the Kerala High Court, seeking to halt the film's release. He claims that the producers financed the project with Rs 14 crore obtained from him unlawfully. The petition names producers Naufal Ahmed and Brijeesh Muhammed, accusing them of misappropriating funds. The complainant has requested that central agencies, including the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), conduct investigations into the matter. However, it is crucial to note that these allegations have yet to be substantiated in court.
The Kerala High Court has acknowledged the petition and issued notices to the producers. Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, Pallichattambi features Kayadu Lohar alongside a talented cast, including Vijayaraghavan, Johny Antony, Sudheer Karamana, TG Ravi, Sreejith Ravi, Vinod Kedamangalam, and Prashanth Alexander. The film's release, initially set for April 9, has been postponed to April 10 due to the Kerala Assembly election voting.
