KATSEYE Launches 'PINKY UP' Ahead of Coachella Performance

As they gear up for their inaugural performance at Coachella this Friday, KATSEYE has released their latest single, PINKY UP. This vibrant and energetic track enhances the dynamic universe that the globally recognized girl group, nominated for two GRAMMYs, has been cultivating—one that is confident, playful, and continually advancing the pop genre. With its striking percussion and a prominent bassline layered with sleek synth sounds, the song conveys a daring, punk-inspired message about embracing life without reservations. The production credits go to dwilly, "hitman" bang, and FRANTS.

The music video, directed by Bardia Zeinali (known for his work with Kacey Musgraves and Troye Sivan) and produced by Roisín Moloney (who has collaborated with Beyoncé and Lady Gaga), reimagines everyday settings as KATSEYE’s personal playground, where themes of acceptance, confidence, and joy are highlighted. The members navigate these spaces with a distinct attitude, crafting their own reality from the mundane. The track made its broadcast debut on MTV Live, MTVU, and was featured on the Paramount Times Square billboards.

In addition to their Coachella appearance, KATSEYE is set to headline the 2026 Head In The Clouds and Hinterland Music festivals, along with a performance at The Governors Ball. Their first tour, supporting their EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS (a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records), was a complete sell-out.

The group has been recognized by The Washington Post as one of the 50 individuals shaping society in 2026. Vogue explored the reasons behind the global fascination with KATSEYE in its April issue, while New York Magazine’s The Cut documented a day and a half in the lives of the six members in its Spring 2026 cover story, which included a thrifting adventure with the group. KATSEYE has also received a nomination for Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist at the GLAAD Media Awards.
