Exciting News for Kartik Aaryan Fans

Mumbai: The release of the comedy-adventure film Naagzilla, featuring Kartik Aaryan, has been postponed to February 12, 2027. The film's producers made this announcement on Wednesday, unveiling the official poster. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, known for his work on the Fukrey series, the film was initially slated for an August 4, 2026 release.

Set against a backdrop of Indian folklore, Naagzilla promises a thrilling narrative involving shape-shifting snakes. The film is produced by a team that includes Karan Johar, Mahaveer Jain, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and Neetu M Jain.

Kartik first teased the film in April last year via Instagram, sharing a captivating motion poster that features him shirtless, overlooking a city from a snake-infested lair.

In his post, he wrote, “I’ve seen many human stories, now watch a story of naags. #Naagzilla – Naag lok ka Pehla Kaand… Fun phailaane Aa raha hu main, Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand… Naag Panchami par aapke nazdeeki SsSsinemas mein. 4 August 2026 ko.”

Recently, Kartik has been in the spotlight due to allegations regarding inappropriate conversations with a minor on Snapchat. These claims, however, remain largely unverified and stem from social media speculation.

On the professional front, Kartik's latest film, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, did not perform well at the box office despite its Christmas release. The romantic comedy struggled to gain traction and was deemed a flop, especially when compared to his previous hit, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which had a successful run.
