Recently, Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor revealed an intriguing anecdote about veteran actress Neetu Singh during her wedding to the late Rishi Kapoor. While appearing on the singing reality show Indian Idol, Karisma recounted how Neetu fainted amidst the crowd of stars at her wedding, causing panic among family members.

“There’s an interesting story that during the wedding, with so many stars and such a huge crowd, Neetu aunty fainted. Everyone was quite scared; her little box goes everywhere with her,” Karisma shared. She also noted that Neetu is so disciplined about her diet that she doesn’t even indulge in biryani, earning admiration from those around her for her commitment to fitness.

Karisma fondly remembered attending the wedding of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, expressing her excitement about being surrounded by so many stars. "I was quite young, but it was a family wedding, and I was thrilled to see all the celebrities,” she reminisced.

Speaking highly of her aunt, Karisma referred to Neetu Singh, now known as Neetu Kapoor, as 'one of the greatest legends in our family and someone I still admire today.' She highlighted Neetu's unique eating habits, which starkly contrast with the typical Kapoor family lifestyle, stating, “In our Kapoor family, everyone loves to eat, but Neetu aunty is completely different. She is very careful about her diet.”

Karisma Kapoor, along with choreographer Geeta Kapur, appeared as special guests on the Golden Jubilee episode of Indian Idol. On the professional front, Karisma was last seen in the 2024 Netflix mystery thriller Murder Mubarak, directed by Homi Adajania, where she starred alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Sara Ali Khan. She is also set to feature in the upcoming crime drama series Brown, directed by Abhinay Deo, based on Abheek Barua's book City of Death, portraying a gritty role as a suicidal alcoholic detective named Rita Brown.
