On Thursday, the Delhi High Court provided interim relief to her sister, actress Karisma Kapoor’s children, in their ongoing dispute with Priya Kapur regarding the will of their late father, Sunjay Kapur.

The court granted an interim injunction requested by Karisma’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, which prevents Priya from accessing or managing Sunjay's assets.

Justice Jyoti Singh, presiding over the case, emphasized the need to preserve Sanjay's estate while the lawsuit is ongoing, particularly given the questionable circumstances surrounding the will in question.

The court also stated that it is Priya's responsibility to clarify any doubts regarding the will's authenticity. The final determination of the will's validity will be made during the trial.

Karisma's children are contesting a will dated March 21, 2025, which allegedly leaves all of Sunjay's personal assets to Priya.

They assert that the will is fraudulent and part of a criminal scheme designed to exclude them and their grandmother.

In earlier hearings, the children's attorney claimed that the will was altered while Sunjay was vacationing with his son.

Sunjay, who was previously married to Karisma, passed away in June 2025 at the age of 53, reportedly from a heart attack while playing polo in the UK.
