Produced by Hombale Films, this production house has been on a record-breaking spree, starting with Yash's KGF and now reaching Kantara Chapter 1. The lifetime collection of Rishab Shetty's Kantara from 2022 has been surpassed by Kantara Chapter 1 in just six days.

Impressive Earnings on Tuesday

Released on October 2, this film has not only captivated audiences in India but has also made waves internationally. The movie started with a worldwide box office collection of 60 crores and has amassed an impressive 362 crores within just five days.

According to reports, the film earned around 45 crores overseas on Tuesday alone. In just six days, it has grossed 407 crores globally, surpassing several major films, including Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi's OG.

Breaking Records of 11 Bollywood Films

Pawan Kalyan's film, De Call Him OG, was released shortly before Kantara Chapter 1. However, OG managed to collect only 285.2 crores in 13 days, while Kantara surpassed it by earning 122 crores more in just six days.

Kantara Chapter 1 has also outperformed the lifetime collections of 11 Bollywood films, including Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (367.65 crores), Dilwale (376.85 crores), Kabir Singh (379.02 crores), Happy New Year (383.1 crores), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (388.48 crores), Kick (388.7 crores), Singham Again (389.64 crores), Krrish 3 (393.37 crores), Simba (400.19 crores), and 3 Idiots (400.61 crores).

Following these achievements, Kantara Chapter 1 is now targeting films like Brahmastra 1 featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Kartik Aaryan, and Chennai Express starring Shah Rukh Khan. So far, it has earned 65 crores in the overseas market.
