A Moment of Self-Reflection

Kangana Ranaut recently experienced what she referred to as a 'fangirl moment,' not for a celebrity, but for her younger self. The actress and politician was touched after coming across an old interview with the iconic host Simi Garewal, where her past confidence and clarity shone through.

The clip, shared by a fan account, features a young Kangana responding to challenging questions with remarkable foresight. When Simi asked, 'What happens if all this goes away?' Kangana confidently replied, 'How can it go away? Times will change, but what I’ve lived and who I am cannot be taken from me.'

Simi cautioned her, saying, 'Bollywood is not a secure place, even for the top stars,' to which Kangana responded, 'I don’t intend to remain in Bollywood forever; that would be absurd.'

Kangana articulated her desire for personal growth beyond acting, stating, 'The worst thing that could happen is getting stuck in time. I want to evolve as a person. Today, I act in films, but tomorrow I might pursue something entirely different.'

The video caption noted, 'Kangana has already indicated her intention to branch out, and she has done just that. It's time for people to recognize that she is more than just an actress or filmmaker; she is also a politician.'

Kangana shared the video on her Instagram Stories, expressing, 'Honestly, if I encountered a young woman as impressive as this, I would be a fan.'

On the professional front, Kangana was last seen in 'Emergency' and is preparing for her Hollywood debut in the horror drama 'Blessed Be the Evil,' where she will star alongside Tyler Posey and Scarlet Rose Stallone. Additionally, she has completed filming a pan-India psychological thriller with R. Madhavan, directed by A. L. Vijay.
