On July 27, she took to her Instagram stories to share an extensive note discussing how contemporary women are making what she describes as 'rebellious choices.' She pointed out that while these women may not take on traditional homemaking roles, they take pride in their perceived freedom. In her post, she also criticized those who rely on their parents' financial support. This commentary follows her earlier remarks about 'Gen Z protest reels' in light of recent student demonstrations that resulted in the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Previously, Kangana had also commented on the Gen Z protests, mocking the social media reels that emerged during the NEET paper leak protests. She mentioned in another Instagram update that after viewing these videos, she felt the need for 'healing' and a 'digital detox.'

"The most concerning behavior is seen in young Hindu women who wish to imitate the lives of independent career women without having earned that freedom. True independence involves making bold choices, having strong opinions, and pursuing unconventional career paths while being accountable for one's actions. These women are self-reliant and do not burden their families. However, a new generation of so-called westernized Indian women, whom I refer to as 'generation gutter,' often lacks substance. Many are not academically inclined and, unfortunately, do not fit into traditional homemaking roles. They flaunt their freedom to indulge in drugs, alcohol, and promiscuity while living off their parents' earnings, all the while claiming to seek independence without actually being accountable. A gentle reminder: true independence must be earned. Living independently without accountability renders one a distorted entity—a gutter chap."
