The examination, which took place on May 3, was called off due to reports of suspected paper leaks from various centers. He lamented that their dreams have been 'shattered by criminal conspiracies.' He further questioned, “Who will take responsibility for this mental agony?” He also noted, “I cannot recall a single NEET exam being conducted without allegations of malpractice.”
Kamal Haasan has been an advocate for bringing education back under state control, emphasizing the need to protect Indian students from the unjust NEET examination and the associated corruption. His post has gained significant traction on social media, with many users calling for the cancellation of NEET exams and suggesting that candidates be selected based on their 12th-grade marks. Others have demanded stringent actions against those responsible for undermining students' efforts through malpractice.
