Jungkook Engages with Fans Post-Concert

After the successful conclusion of their two-day concert in Madrid on June 26-27 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium, BTS member Jungkook took to Weverse to connect with fans. The live session was filled with laughter and light-hearted moments, as Jungkook, holding a beer, discussed various topics, including a viral TikTok dance with J-Hope and even addressed marriage proposals directed at Suga. However, a specific comment during the session seemed to irritate both Jungkook and his fans. He responded strongly to viewers who suggested he should go to sleep.

Jungkook's Firm Response

Jungkook's strong reply

In a rough translation, Jungkook expressed, "I appreciate your concern, but please don’t tell me to go to bed. I’ll sleep when I choose to. I’m not sleepy right now, and I struggle with sleep. I have to take medication to help me sleep, and even then, it’s difficult for me to fall asleep." He further explained that staying up late is part of his routine, stating, "I usually don’t feel sleepy until around 2 AM. This is just how I am. I’m not pushing myself; I’m staying up because I want to. I genuinely appreciate your concern, but I’m okay. Really, I am."

Fan Reactions to the Comments

ARMY reacts to such comments

Fans quickly rallied to defend Jungkook, criticizing those who attempted to dictate his actions. One user on X (formerly Twitter) remarked, "Why do I feel embarrassed even though I didn’t comment? Just watch him or turn off your screen and go to bed! He’s live after a long time, so let’s enjoy him without annoying him!" Another fan added, "He’s not a child; he has his reasons. Mind your own business and appreciate that he chooses to share his time with us. This entitled behavior is unacceptable." Jungkook and his fellow BTS members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V, are set to continue their ARIRANG World Tour with upcoming stops in Brussels, London, Munich, and Paris.
