John Cena Praises Idris Elba During Film Promotion
In a recent interview on 'This Morning,' Cena discussed his new film and expressed his preference for acting over a political career. He shared his admiration for Idris Elba, his co-star in the action-comedy, stating, "You know, we’re longtime friends. We worked together on 'The Suicide Squad' a while back. One of the producers suggested we should collaborate again to capture our chemistry on screen."
At the Night of Champions 2025, Cena successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against CM Punk, with Seth Rollins attempting to cash in his Money in the Bank contract during the match. This encounter marked their 15th televised clash, with Cena leading their rivalry 7-6.
Currently, Cena is scheduled to return to WWE programming on July 18 during the Friday Night SmackDown event in San Antonio, Texas, marking his first appearance since the Saudi Arabia event.
