Jennifer Lopez Moves On with Tattoo Transformation

In a significant step towards closure, singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has modified the 'infinity' tattoo she had dedicated to her former partner, Ben Affleck. Reports suggest that this change was made after their divorce was finalized, marking a fresh start for Lopez.

During her Memorial Day celebrations, Lopez was spotted with her son, Maximilian "Max" Muniz, 18, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony. In the photos, she donned an elegant backless dress that highlighted the altered tattoo above her ribcage. The original design included an infinity symbol intertwined with both their names, but now only her name is visible, indicating that Affleck's name has been obscured.

Lopez first showcased the tattoo as a testament to her love for Affleck, sharing a heartfelt message on a now-deleted Instagram post that read, "Commitment...Happy Valentine's Day my love." Affleck also honored their relationship with a matching tattoo featuring crossed arrows and their initials. It remains unclear if he has made any changes to his tattoo.

Their relationship has been tumultuous, starting with their initial meeting in 2002 on the set of 'Gigli.' They got engaged that same year but called it off in 2004. After rekindling their romance in 2021, they became engaged again in 2022 and tied the knot in July. However, Lopez filed for divorce on their second wedding anniversary in August 2024, with the divorce finalized in January 2025.

In an interview with comedian Nikki Glaser in October 2024, Lopez reflected on her separation from Affleck, stating she has no regrets about the split. She acknowledged the emotional challenges but expressed gratitude for the journey, saying, "... that is exactly what I needed. Thank you, God. I'm sorry it took me so long." This highlights her path of healing and self-discovery following the end of their marriage.
