Mumbai, Oct 9: Renowned singer Jason Derulo is set to make his debut at the Sunburn festival, having been announced as the fourth headliner for this much-anticipated music event.

Derulo will infuse his signature pop vibe into the atmosphere at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse this December. He joins previously announced headliners, including The Chainsmokers, Sebastian Ingrosso, and DJ Snake.

Expressing his excitement, Derulo stated, “India has always shown me so much love, and I’m thrilled to finally bring my full show to Mumbai this December. Sunburn is known for its incredible energy, and I can’t wait to match that.”

His impressive discography features hits like ‘Jalebi Baby’, 'Talk Dirty', 'Swalla', 'Wiggle', 'Whatcha Say', and 'Want to Want Me', collectively garnering billions of streams globally. Derulo is celebrated not only for his vocal talent but also for his electrifying live performances, which include intricate choreography and stunning stage production.

Karan Singh, CEO of Sunburn, commented on the announcement, saying, “Jason Derulo is one of pop’s most consistent global hitmakers, and having him at Sunburn Festival for the first time is a significant milestone for us. With The Chainsmokers, Sebastian Ingrosso, and DJ Snake already in this year’s lineup, his addition showcases the growth and vision of Sunburn.”

“While our roots are in electronic music, the live entertainment scene has expanded significantly, and we see a chance to present a wider array of global sounds and artists to our audience.”

Sunburn Festival has increasingly incorporated diverse musical styles, from Arijit Singh performing alongside Martin Garrix at Sunburn Arena in 2025 to artists like Francis Mercier, who blends Afro and global influences. However, this marks the first time a headliner from outside the electronic genre will grace the festival stage.
