Mumbai, July 17: Celebrated Punjabi artist Jasmine Sandlas is reveling in the success of her inaugural Dream Girl Tour, where she publicly introduced her fiancé, Shekhar, during a concert in Delhi.
During the performance, Jasmine shared heartfelt moments, including a photo of her embracing Shekhar, declaring, “This is my man. He put a ring on it.”
She expressed her joy, stating that the experience “still feels like a dream.”
In her social media post, she reflected, “The first show of the Dream Girl Tour still feels surreal. I’m not quite ready to discuss it yet. Thank you, Delhi.”
Jasmine's musical journey began with her hit song "Muskan" in 2008, and she ventured into Bollywood playback singing in 2014 with "Yaar Na Miley" from the film Kick.
Her recent popular tracks include "Shararat" and "Jaiye Sajna" from the "Dhurandhar" series, as well as "Taras" for the upcoming movie Munjya 2024 and "Nasha" for Raid-2 2025. She has earned numerous accolades, including the title of "Most Popular Song of the Year 2016," and has appeared on platforms like TEDx Talks and MTV Coke Studio.
In May, Jasmine announced her ‘The Dream Girl India Tour,’ emphasizing that it’s not merely about larger venues but about fostering a connection between her music and the audience.
She elaborated, stating, “My journey has always been unfiltered and closely linked to my listeners. With 'The Dream Girl' tour, we are breaking down barriers to create an arena experience that is both intimate and electrifying. I’m bringing my rawest energy, and I hope India reciprocates.”
The tour's name is a tribute to her evolution from a budding lyricist to an international sensation, following the remarkable success of her recent songs from the Ranveer Singh-led Dhurandhar duology.
