Janhvi Kapoor Heads to Cannes for 'Homebound'
Janhvi Kapoor is set to make her debut at the Cannes Film Festival and was spotted at the airport as she prepared for the event. Her upcoming film, 'Homebound', featuring Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa, will be showcased at the Un Certain Regard section of Cannes 2025. The actress looked effortlessly stylish while departing for France to attend the prestigious festival.
Dressed in a black high-neck top, Janhvi paired it with fitted trousers and formal shoes. She completed her ensemble with a chic burgundy jacket, fashionable sunglasses, and a trendy handbag.
Acclaimed filmmaker Martin Scorsese has taken on the role of executive producer for the film. He expressed his admiration for director Neeraj Ghaywan, stating, “I was captivated by Neeraj’s debut film Masaan in 2015. When I received the project for his second film from Melita Toscan du Plantier, I was intrigued. The story and cultural elements resonated with me, and I was eager to assist. Neeraj has crafted a film that is a valuable addition to Indian cinema. I am thrilled that it has been selected for Un Certain Regard at Cannes this year.”
