The blockbuster film 'Jailer 2', featuring superstar Rajinikanth, continues to dominate the box office, rapidly approaching a historic global collection of ₹700 crores. On its tenth day of release, the film earned ₹16.25 crores in India alone. It is now just ₹25 crores away from surpassing Rajinikanth's previous hit '2.0', which was released in 2018, making it the highest-grossing Tamil film worldwide.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Jailer 2' has amassed a gross collection of ₹436.80 crores in India, with a net collection reaching ₹373 crores. The film's total worldwide gross has now reached ₹666.30 crores. In its first week, 'Jailer 2' set a new record by exceeding the lifetime collection of its predecessor, which stood at ₹604.7 crores.

The sequel introduces notable actors such as Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, and SJ Surya, alongside commendable performances from Yogi Babu and Namo Narayan. The surprise cameo appearances by Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, and Shiva Rajkumar have also captivated audiences. With the highly anticipated release of 'Ramayana' on November 5, 'Jailer 2' has a prime opportunity to set new box office records.
