The manager explained that Singh is simply fulfilling obligations that were established before his decision to pause new assignments. The song, which features a heartfelt composition by Amal Malik and lyrics by Rashmi Virag, was released on July 21 on various music streaming platforms and has been met with an enthusiastic response from listeners.

This release also marks a collaboration between Arijit Singh and producer Vishesh Bhatt, who previously worked together on the song "Pal" from the 2018 film "Jalebi." Over the years, Singh has produced many memorable tracks for significant films, including "Tum Hi Ho" from "Aashiqui 2," "Muskurane" from "CityLights," and the title songs of "Khamoshiyan" and "Hamari Adhuri Kahani."

The film "Awarapan," directed by Nitin Kakkar and penned by Bilal Siddiqui, features a talented cast including Emraan Hashmi, Disha Patani, Shabana Azmi, and Atul Kumar. It is scheduled for release in theaters on August 14.
