Following the protest, the actor shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram, revealing that witnessing the police's harsh treatment of the demonstrators left him feeling shattered. He expressed his confusion over the situation, questioning how such events could occur.

In his Instagram post, Imran stated, "These students have put in immense effort, only to be let down by the system. They sought to be heard but were met with silence. These citizens stood up for their beliefs, only to be oppressed by those in power." He emphasized the importance of recognizing these students as the future of the nation, asking, "If we ignore those who have the most to lose, what does that say about our future? We must stand in solidarity with the students."

This isn't the first instance of Imran advocating for students. Recently, he addressed the controversy surrounding the exam paper leaks, asserting that this issue transcends political debate. He believes that if students are expected to uphold integrity during exams, the institutions overseeing these processes must also be held accountable.

He concluded his message by acknowledging the millions of students whose hard work has been undermined and those who continue to fight against injustice. "I see you. You advocate for the best in us, and it is my privilege to stand with you," he wrote.
