Ayushmaan Sethi, the younger son of Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi, recently fell victim to a credit card scam, losing Rs 87,000. He shared his experience in a vlog posted by his elder brother, Aaryamann Sethi, on YouTube. The family was shocked to learn about the incident, but they are now relieved as Ayushmaan has successfully recovered the lost amount. He announced this positive news in a recent vlog on the Aary Vlogs channel.

Successful Recovery of Funds

In a video released on April 29, the family confirmed that Ayushmaan had managed to retrieve the Rs 87,000 that was fraudulently taken from him. The video features Ayushmaan in a casual outfit, and Aaryamaan humorously suggested that his brother should consider buying some new clothes now that he has his money back. Ayushmaan playfully responded, pretending to be emotional, saying, “Ab kharid sakta hu main (Now I can buy it).”

For those unfamiliar with the situation, Archana Puran Singh was understandably worried about her son's financial loss. In a previous vlog, Ayushmaan explained that the scam occurred when he signed up for what was advertised as a seven-day free trial. The website assured him that no charges would be incurred during the first week, but he was later billed for a full year without his consent.
Upon informing his parents, they advised him to file a complaint with the credit card company. After a few business days, he successfully recovered his funds.
As credit card fraud continues to rise in the country, financial institutions are urging users to be vigilant with their transactions.
