As reported by Sacnilk, Housefull 5 experienced a slight decline in earnings on Monday but still maintained a solid presence in theaters. Early estimates indicate that the film garnered Rs 10.75 crore on its fifth day, bringing its total earnings to Rs 111.25 crore within just five days.
The film had a robust opening weekend, starting with Rs 24 crore on Day 1. It saw a remarkable increase of 29.17% on Day 2, earning Rs 31 crore, followed by a further rise to Rs 32.5 crore on Day 3, marking a 4.84% growth. However, the fourth day saw a significant drop, with collections falling to Rs 13 crore, a 60% decrease.
Unique Storytelling with Two Endings
The creators of Housefull 5 have introduced two versions of the film, each featuring different conclusions. Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff portray police officers investigating the enigmatic murders aboard the ship. In version ‘A’, Abhishek Bachchan's character, Jalbhushan, is revealed as one of the culprits alongside Fardeen Khan's character, Dev. Conversely, in the alternate version, Chitrangda Singh's character, Maya, is implicated as the killer alongside Jalbhushan.
In a surprising twist, characters pretending to be Jolly are exposed as impostors, with Bobby Deol making a cameo as the genuine Jolly.
