A Historic Premiere in India

Mumbai: The upcoming film The Odyssey marks a significant milestone as it will be the first Christopher Nolan movie to premiere in India. The acclaimed director, along with Hollywood stars Matt Damon and Tom Holland, is set to visit Mumbai this July as part of their worldwide promotional tour.

Nolan will be joined by his producer spouse, Emma Thomas, and the lead actors, who portray Odysseus and his son Telemachus in this epic tale. Mumbai has been officially chosen as a stop on the global premiere tour for The Odyssey, joining prestigious cities like London, Paris, and New York. The film is scheduled to hit theaters globally on July 17.

Utilizing cutting-edge IMAX film technology, The Odyssey is notable for being the first feature film entirely shot with IMAX cameras. The premiere event in India will take place at PVR Icon IMAX: Phoenix Palladium in Mumbai.

In addition to Damon and Holland, the film boasts a star-studded cast including Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Samantha Morton, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron. The project is produced by Nolan and Emma through their production company, Syncopy.

Written and directed by Nolan, The Odyssey adapts Homer's classic narrative of Odysseus's long journey home following the fall of Troy for IMAX audiences around the globe.
