The trailer opens with a touching portrayal of Peter Parker's lonely life in New York City as Spider-Man. In a surprising turn, his closest allies, girlfriend MJ (played by Zendaya) and friend Ned (Jacob Batalon), have forgotten him. Faced with this heartbreaking situation, Peter struggles with the decision to reveal his true identity to MJ, contemplating a life apart from her. Yet, his superhero duties soon pull him back into action, featuring a dramatic transformation scene with the Hulk.
