The 27th season of The Bachelor premiered on January 23, 2023, starring Zach Shellcross, a 26-year-old tech executive. Zach previously appeared on a season of The Bachelorette, starring Rachel Recchia and Gabby Winde. On Monday night, Zach Shellcross was put in the position of choosing between Gabby Elnicki and Katie Bigger.

The couple said they want to marry in 2025 and plan to move in together this summer in Austin, Texas, where they both lived before joining the reality dating show. "We've been longing for this moment for so long," Bigger said publicly of his relationship with Shellcross, who said he knew "it's always been you."
Shellcross and Bigger said they are currently focused on maintaining a normal relationship away from the cameras.
