The superhero film Spider-Man: Brand New Day has maintained its reign at the North American box office for six weeks in a row. As reported by industry tracker Exhibitor Relations, the movie, featuring Tom Holland and Zendaya, brought in an impressive $18 million over the extended Labor Day weekend in the U.S.

Although this marks a 20% drop from the previous weekend's earnings, the film continues to show remarkable box office strength. Since its debut on July 31, this Marvel blockbuster has amassed $918 million in ticket sales across the U.S. and Canada, along with an additional $1.48 billion from international markets.

Following Spider-Man's success, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, distributed by Universal, has taken the second position. Now in its eighth week, the film earned $13 million, raising its total domestic earnings to $584.7 million.

In third place, the hybrid animation and live-action film Coyote vs. Acme generated $11.3 million in its second week. Initially shelved by Warner Bros. for a tax write-off, it was later picked up and released by Ketchup Entertainment.

Paramount's latest release, the civil rights era crime thriller By Any Means, debuted in fourth place with $7.4 million. Starring Mark Wahlberg and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, the film has received mixed reviews from critics but positive audience feedback, marking a strong start for an original crime thriller.

Completing the top five, the horror sequel Insidious: Out of the Further earned $6.5 million in its third week.
