Robert Pattinson's Magical Connection: A Hogwarts School for His Daughter?
A Star's Unique Connection to the Wizarding World
Renowned Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson, celebrated for his roles in iconic film series, has recently unveiled a fascinating link to the 'Harry Potter' universe through his young daughter. Although he typically keeps his family life private, Pattinson disclosed in a recent GQ interview that he is contemplating enrolling his two-year-old daughter, whom he shares with fiancée Suki Waterhouse, in a school associated with the Wizarding World. This announcement coincides with the promotion of his upcoming film, 'The Odyssey.'
He elaborated that the filming for 'The Batman Part II' is scheduled to occur in London, near the Warner Bros. studios where the new 'Harry Potter' series is in the works. While searching for appropriate schools, he stumbled upon one that caters to child actors involved in the franchise. "I was like, 'This is where you're going to go to school. To Hogwarts,'" he expressed, showcasing his excitement about the prospect. He further mentioned, "And I genuinely believe that might actually be her first school."
Before achieving fame as Edward Cullen in the 'Twilight' saga and later as Batman, Pattinson gained recognition for his role as Cedric Diggory in the 2005 film 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.' This early performance has become a significant aspect of his career, connecting him to the beloved franchise that continues to enchant audiences globally.
The 40-year-old actor and Waterhouse welcomed their daughter in March 2024. They have chosen to keep her name and images under wraps, aiming to shield her identity from public scrutiny. Waterhouse recently shared that both she and Pattinson desire their daughter to have the autonomy to decide if she wants to step into the limelight, although she humorously noted that the little one already shows a penchant for the dramatic.
As Pattinson gears up for the release of Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey,' he is also set to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in 'The Batman Part II,' which commenced filming last month. Additionally, he will feature in 'Dune: Part Three,' slated for release on December 19, further cementing his position as a prominent figure in modern cinema.
