As reported by NBC 4 Los Angeles, the confrontation occurred as Buckingham was entering a building in Santa Monica. A woman, identified by authorities as a stalking suspect, approached him and threw an unidentified substance before quickly departing. The police have identified the suspect, although no arrests had been made as of Wednesday. However, law enforcement has indicated that an arrest is anticipated soon.
The report further indicated that the woman had a history with Buckingham, hinting at previous stalking incidents. He alleged that she left lengthy messages, making claims of being his child and issuing threats against him and his family. Buckingham denied any personal connection to her and described her claims as unfounded. However, authorities have not confirmed whether the suspect in the recent incident is the same individual involved in the restraining order case.
