Styles also addressed the 'queerbaiting' controversy, recalling how during his One Direction days, fans scrutinized his fashion choices. He joked, “Did it ever occur to you that maybe you do not know everything about me, Dad?” which elicited laughter from the audience. He further shared that jogging is one of his favorite pastimes, likening the post-run feeling to the vibe of his hit song, “Watermelon Sugar.”

This appearance followed Styles’ surprise cameo during Ryan Gosling’s episode of SNL, where Gosling humorously noted his distraction due to Styles sitting in the front row. In a reciprocal gesture, Gosling made a brief appearance to introduce one of Styles’ musical performances.
