Although the musical wrapped up in June 2025, Youngjae claims that financial disputes have lingered since then.


The controversy ignited when Youngjae posted a candid message on Instagram, accusing the production company of consistently postponing the payment of his appearance fees. He stated that he had been assured the matter would be resolved by June 9, yet the payments remained outstanding. Youngjae expressed his frustration over being told to "wait a little longer" each time he inquired about the status of his fees.



By August, Youngjae noted that it would nearly be a year since the payment issues first arose. While he acknowledged receiving some payments in installments, he emphasized that these amounts were merely a fraction of what he was owed under his contract. He questioned whether his dedication, which included months of rehearsals and performances, was being adequately recognized. Response from the Production Company
