Goldy Brar, a gangster residing in Canada, has openly confessed to orchestrating the murder of renowned Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moosewala. This revelation comes nearly three years after the tragic event. In an interview released by a major media outlet on Moosewala's birthday, Brar provided a chilling justification for the crime, taking full responsibility without expressing any remorse.

Sidhu Moosewala, aged 28, was shot dead on May 29, 2022, near his ancestral village of Musa in Punjab's Mansa district. This incident occurred just a day after the Punjab government reduced his security detail.

Brar's Justification

Affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Brar stated that Moosewala's actions left him with no choice but to eliminate him. In the interview, he claimed that Moosewala made unforgivable mistakes due to his arrogance, which ultimately led to his demise. Brar emphasized that Moosewala had to face the consequences of his actions.

Rivalry Between Moosewala and Bishnoi Gang

Tensions escalated between Sidhu Moosewala and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang when Moosewala publicly promoted a tournament organized by the rival Bambiha gang. Brar mentioned that Lawrence Bishnoi was in contact with Moosewala, although he did not know who facilitated their meeting. He claimed that Moosewala attempted to flatter Lawrence by sending 'Good Morning' and 'Good Night' messages. Brar alleged that the rivalry intensified over a kabaddi tournament in Punjab, as Moosewala was promoting their adversaries, which angered Lawrence and others, leading to threats against Moosewala.
