Teaser for Godzilla Minus Zero Unveils the Legendary Beast

The teaser, lasting nearly 30 seconds, ominously states, "Returning to zero is not an option." Directed and written by Takashi Yamazaki, who also handled the visual effects, this Japanese film continues the story two years after Godzilla Minus One, set in 1949. The narrative revisits the Shikishima family as they face another catastrophe brought on by Godzilla.

The teaser suggests that Godzilla will venture across the ocean to a new continent in this sequel. The final scene of the Godzilla Minus Zero teaser features the monster towering over the Statue of Liberty. Returning cast members include Ryunosuke Kamiki as Kōichi Shikishima, a former kamikaze pilot, and Minami Hamabe as his wife Noriko.
