Set 5,000 years ago, this story is cherished by 2.5 billion people worldwide. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, with Yash as co-producer, 'Ramayana' aims to create a cutting-edge cinematic universe that honors Indian culture while appealing to a global audience.

'Ramayana' is envisioned as a two-part live-action cinematic experience, designed on a scale comparable to the largest productions ever made. It brings together celebrated talents from both Hollywood and India in an unprecedented partnership.

Nitesh Tiwari remarked, “‘Ramayana’ is a narrative we have all grown up with, embodying the essence of our culture. Our goal was to honor that essence and present it with the cinematic grandeur it rightfully deserves. As a filmmaker, it is both a significant responsibility and a profound honor to bring this story to life. This tale has persisted through the ages because it resonates with something timeless within us. We are not just creating a film; we are offering a vision rooted in respect, shaped by excellence, and designed to transcend borders.”

The film will also feature top stunt directors from Hollywood, including Terry Notary (known for 'Avengers' and 'Planet of the Apes') and Guy Norris (from 'Mad Max: Fury Road' and 'Furiosa'), who will choreograph the epic confrontations between gods and demons. The visual splendor of ancient India will be reimagined by acclaimed production designers Ravi Bansal (who worked on 'Dune 2' and 'Aladdin') and Ramsey Avery (known for 'Captain America' and 'Tomorrowland').
