Giorgio Armani, the celebrated fashion designer, has died at the age of 91, as confirmed by his fashion house. Renowned for his significant impact on the fashion industry, he was instrumental in transforming red-carpet fashion and collaborated with numerous high-profile celebrities.
Armani established his brand in 1975, initially focusing on men's clothing, and quickly expanded to include a women's line within the same year. By 1979, he had begun exporting to the United States, achieving remarkable success. Following the launch of his distinguished men's and women's collections, he diversified into various products such as swimwear, accessories, and fragrances. In 1980, he made his mark in the film industry by designing costumes for the movie 'American Gigolo', and later for the acclaimed 1987 film 'The Untouchables'.
