The excitement surrounding this sequel has intensified following a recent Instagram post by Anaita Shroff Adajania, the wife of director Homi Adajania and a well-known stylist. She shared an image of the Cocktail 2 script on her story, captioning it with, “Let the prep begin,” which suggests that filming is about to start.

While additional information about the movie remains under wraps, reports indicate that Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna have been approached for leading roles. The original Cocktail, directed by Homi Adajania, featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty and was released in 2012.
