Prepare for thrilling new seasons of Reacher and its spinoff Neagley, as both shows unveiled their trailers at San Diego Comic-Con. Alan Ritchson, who stars as Jack Reacher, confirmed that the storyline for the upcoming season is adapted from Lee Child's acclaimed book series. The trailers hint at intriguing mysteries that Reacher and Neagley must unravel before time runs out. Reacher Season 4 is set to debut on August 12, with the first three episodes available on Amazon Prime Video, followed by weekly releases leading to the season finale on September 16, 2026. All episodes of Neagley will be released on the same day.
Reacher Season 4 Takes Place in New York City
The official Instagram account for the show announced, "He’s back and bigger than ever. Be on the lookout for REACHER Season 4 August 12." The initial trailer features Ritchson navigating the New York City subway, where a woman named Susan Mark tragically takes her own life. This incident leads him into a web of danger involving mercenaries, federal agents, and the CIA as he seeks a missing pen drive. Additionally, Reacher aims to assist Susan's brother, Jacob, a cop in New York City, in uncovering the pressures she faced from higher-ups.
During the Comic-Con panel, Ritchson was joined by Indonesian artists Agnez Mo and Anggun. He later shared on Instagram that Season 5 will adapt Child's 20th novel, Make Me. With Nick Santora returning as showrunner, the fourth season will also feature actors Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette, Sydelle Noel, Marc Blucas, Kevin Weisman, Kathleen Robertson, and Kevin Corrigan, and will be based on the 13th book, Gone Tomorrow.
Neagley Unveils Its First Trailer Featuring Maria Sten
Maria Sten, who has been part of all four seasons of Reacher, participated in the Neagley panel alongside Greyston Holt and Jasper Jones. Sten announced that Child and author Yasmin Angoe will release a new Neagley novel titled Zero Margin, scheduled for release in March 2027.
The inaugural season of Neagley will center on Sten's character as she launches her private investigation services in Chicago. She becomes determined to seek justice for an old friend who has been mysteriously murdered. Ritchson's Reacher will also make a special appearance in this series, which features an ensemble cast including Greyston Holt, Adeline Rudolph, Jasper Jones, Matthew Del Negro, and Damon Herriman.
