Sneider also mentioned that Reeves had indicated in September 2025 that this sequel's antagonist has not been depicted in previous films.

In Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, Aaron Eckhart portrayed Dent, also known as Two-Face. There have been rumors that Scarlett Johansson might play Dent's wife, Gilda, while Charles Dance could take on the role of Dent's father.
