Hyderabad, Feb 28: The production team behind the highly anticipated period film 'Ranabaali', directed by Rahul Sankrityan, marked the wedding of actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna by unveiling a sneak peek of their wedding song 'Endhayya Saami'.

Mythri Movie Makers, the studio behind the film, took to social media to share this "Special Surprise", stating, "Our RANABAALI and JAYAMMA. Together, forever ❤️. Celebrating their love with this special surprise. #EndhayyaSaami – Telugu #YedhayyaSaami – Tamil #EntheKannaala – Malayalam #EnayyaSaami - Kannada #OMereSaajan - Hindi. Ranabaali is set for a grand release worldwide on September 11th."

The enchanting Telugu track has been composed by Ajay and Atul, featuring vocals by Shweta Mohan and Ajay Gogavale, with lyrics crafted by Saraswatiputra Ramajogayya Sastry.

This romantic number depicts Jayamma arriving at Ranabaali's residence post-wedding.

For those unfamiliar, Vijay Deverakonda portrays Ranabaali, while Rashmika Mandanna takes on the role of his wife, Jayamma. The film also stars Arnold Vosloo, recognized for his role in 'The Mummy', as the antagonist Sir Theodore Hector.

'Ranabaali' is being produced on a grand scale by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, with T-Series presenting the film. Set against a backdrop of British colonialism, this period action drama is inspired by actual historical events occurring between 1854 and 1878, and is envisioned as a significant pan-India project.

Reports suggest that 'Ranabaali' draws inspiration from real incidents of the 1850s that have been overlooked in mainstream history. The film aims to highlight events that were misrepresented by the British.

It is important to note that 'Ranabaali' will not be a biographical account or a straightforward historical retelling; instead, it will serve as a cinematic interpretation of the era, constructed from various real accounts, oral histories, and overlooked records.

Following their collaborations in 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Dear Comrade', 'Ranabaali' marks the third film featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda as a couple.
