His objective is to infiltrate perilous mafia organizations in Pakistan and gather intelligence from within. For this dangerous task, he selects a young man from Punjab with little to lose. During Mission Dhurandhar, Ranveer's character adopts the persona of Hamza Mazari and gradually gains the trust of the Baloch gang, led by Rehman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna. Hamza ultimately devises a plan to eliminate Rehman with assistance from SP Aslam Chaudhry, enacted by Sanjay Dutt. In the climax, Hamza awakens to find a confidential diary given to him by another Indian agent, where he crosses Rehman’s name off the hitlist.
