Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film casts Ranbir as Lord Rama, Sai as Goddess Sita, and Yash as the demon king Ravana. Although the release is still some time away, promotional activities have already begun. To celebrate Nitesh Tiwari's birthday, producer Namit Malhotra shared a touching message and a video where Tiwari discussed his initial reaction to being offered the project. The first installment is set to premiere during Diwali 2026.

Tiwari also reflected on the inspiration he drew from the project, noting that he never doubted their ability to bring it to life. He credited the support from Namit and DNEG as pivotal in his journey, which began six years ago. "It’s been an incredible journey, and I wouldn’t change my decision for anything," he remarked.
