Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram

The excitement for 'Ramayana' surged after the teaser was unveiled, showcasing Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Ram. The teaser provided glimpses of significant moments, including the coronation and the exile in Panchvati, where Kapoor embodies Lord Ram with elegance and a divine presence.

Additionally, a sneak peek of Yash as Raavan was shown at the teaser's conclusion, with plans for a separate teaser to reveal his complete look.

Two-Part Film Release

The film is set to be released in two parts, with the first installment scheduled for a global release in October 2026, just before Diwali, and the second part slated for Diwali 2027.

Notably, A.R. Rahman and Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer are collaborating for the first time on this project. Alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, and Yash will also play significant roles in the film.
