Where to Stream 'Jailer 2'?
Possible OTT Platforms
'Jailer 2' is anticipated to be available on an OTT service in November, with Prime Video being a strong contender. There are also hints that the film could be released around the Diwali festival.
Controversy Surrounding the OTT Release
Concerns Over Release Timing
The current strategy is to launch the film on OTT platforms four weeks post its theatrical debut. If this schedule is adhered to, the film could be available online as early as next month. However, there are reports of controversy regarding this release window, as the brief gap may restrict the screening of the Hindi version in North India.
Major multiplex chains in North India have expressed concerns over this four-week window, as they typically prefer an eight-week interval between a film's theatrical release and its OTT launch. Consequently, discussions are ongoing regarding this timeline, and it is possible that the Hindi-dubbed version may not be released within this four-week period. The official announcement from the makers regarding the OTT release remains awaited.
