As the head of Balaji Telefilms Limited, she has issued a serious warning to aspiring actors and directors regarding unauthorized individuals and fake social media accounts that are misusing her production house's name.

In a public statement shared on her official Instagram, the 50-year-old filmmaker alerted the public about various unauthorized entities that are exploiting her production house's corporate identity. These fraudulent accounts are falsely advertising casting opportunities for upcoming TV shows, web series, and films produced by Balaji Telefilms. Ektaa emphasized, "We unequivocally disassociate ourselves from these unrelated entities and strongly condemn any attempt to exploit the ambitions of aspiring actors and directors through such deceptive practices."

She further clarified that Balaji Telefilms does not charge registration fees or audition costs, nor does it issue formal agreements without prior in-person meetings at their official location. Legitimate casting and recruitment for projects are conducted exclusively through verified channels and official casting directors. Ektaa concluded her statement by urging the public to exercise caution, verify credentials, and avoid sharing personal information or money with unverified representatives claiming to act on behalf of her production house.

Her Instagram post was captioned, "Official Notice: Beware of fake casting calls. Always verify. Stay informed."
