Overview of Drishyam 3: The Conclusion

The newly launched film *Drishyam 3: The Conclusion*, featuring Ajay Devgn, finally answers the mysteries that have lingered since the earlier films. The creators took significant measures to keep the film's ending confidential before its premiere. Writer Aamil Keeyan Khan shared insights on how they managed to keep the climax a secret.

Insights from the Screenwriter

**Writer's Perspective on the Climax**
In a recent conversation with a media outlet, screenwriter Aamil Keeyan Khan elaborated on the film's reliance on its climax. He mentioned, "Abhishek managed the production similarly to how Vijay Salgaonkar [the main character] would. A significant portion of the team was unaware of the climax. Information was disseminated strictly on a 'need-to-know' basis. At times, a department would only be informed about what was necessary for filming a particular scene, without understanding the overall context of their work."

Bribery Attempts for Secrets

**Attempts to Uncover the Climax**
Khan also revealed, "Numerous cast and crew members, including friends and family, attempted to bribe me for details about the climax. However, like Gaitonde [a character in the film], I remained faithful and committed to the producers."

The Writing Process

**Drafting Challenges**
Discussing the hurdles faced while crafting *Drishyam 3*, Khan stated, "I have numerous folders filled with drafts, each marked with dates and numbers, including files named 'Final,' 'Final 2,' 'Final Final,' and even 'Final Please God.' I've genuinely lost track, but we produced over a hundred drafts throughout the process."

Box Office Success

The film *Drishyam 3* quickly entered the ₹100-crore club within just two days of its release. By the third day, its total earnings surpassed ₹150 crores, boosted by a collection of ₹61 crores on Sunday.

On its opening day, the film garnered ₹62 crores, followed by ₹53.50 crores on Saturday. Although earnings dipped on Monday due to the workweek, the film has achieved a remarkable net collection of ₹180.76 crores across the country.
