Atlee and Priya Celebrate New Arrival
Chennai: Renowned filmmaker Atlee and his spouse Priya Atlee joyfully announced on Monday the arrival of their baby girl.
The couple is already parents to a son named Meer.
Atlee took to social media to share the delightful news, expressing his feelings of being 'blessed' and posting a charming illustration featuring their son Meer, which proclaimed, 'Yay! I’ve got a baby sister!'
The announcement poster also included the message, 'We, Priya and Atlee, are blessed with a baby girl. April 20th, 2026.'

Currently, Atlee is engaged in his upcoming project titled Raaka, which stars Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
Recently, on Allu Arjun's 44th birthday, the first look of the actor from the film was unveiled, showcasing a striking close-up of his rugged features, partially obscured by what seems to be a wolf's claw, creating a fierce, warrior-like vibe.
Sun Pictures, the production company behind the film, previously announced that the project would involve top-tier professionals.
In a video shared during the announcement, various world-class technicians expressed their excitement about the script.
James Madigan, a renowned VFX supervisor known for his work on 'Iron Man 2' and 'Transformers: Rise of the Beasts', remarked, 'I just got done reading the script and I got to say, my head is still spinning.'
The clip also featured Allu Arjun discussing the script with Mike Elizalde, president of Spectral Motion, who stated, 'The script is seriously unlike anything I’ve ever read. It is the best of the best of what I would ever want to create.'
Justin Raleigh, an Academy Award winner and artistic director at Fractured FX, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, 'Reading through it (the script), very excited about all the creature potential. All the different character potential.'
William Write Anderson, co-owner of Lola VFX, added, 'I cannot wait to be a part of this. I can’t wait to see what his vision does. The story is unbelievable.'
The filmmakers are promoting the movie as one that will resonate with audiences worldwide.
