The teaser for the much-anticipated film Sardaar Ji 3 has been released, showcasing Diljit Dosanjh in the role of a ghost hunter. The film also stars Neeru Bajwa, Gulshan Grover, BN Sharma, and Jasmin Bajwa, and is scheduled to hit theaters on June 27, 2025.

Recently, the film has faced backlash, with the BJP Chitrapat Kamgar Aghaadi calling for a nationwide ban on its release. The controversy stems from the inclusion of Pakistani actors Hania Aamir, Nasir Chinyoti, Daniel Khawar, and Saleem Albela. The union representing Indian film industry workers has urged the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to deny approval for the film, citing national sentiment and ongoing geopolitical issues. They argue that featuring Pakistani artists in Indian cinema undermines respect for the nation and its armed forces.
