Diljit Dosanjh's Concert in Delhi Canceled Amid Security Concerns

Diljit Dosanjh's Concert Cancellation

Diljit Dosanjh was set to launch his 'Aura India Tour' with a performance at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 30. Although ticket sales had commenced, the concert has now been officially canceled.

The Delhi Police have denied permission for the concert. Initially scheduled for November 1, the event was moved to October 30 due to sensitivities related to the anniversary of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. However, it has now been postponed indefinitely.

Is Diljit Dosanjh's Concert Canceled?

Reasons for Denial of Approval
The letter elaborated: "Due to specific security threats, the ongoing festive season—which involves various security and law enforcement duties—and other significant law-and-order issues, we cannot approve this request."
