Diljit Dosanjh Steps Away from No Entry 2

Punjabi icon Diljit Dosanjh has officially withdrawn from the eagerly awaited sequel to 'No Entry,' which features Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. As reported by a leading entertainment source, Diljit was initially set to take on a significant role but has now decided to exit the film.

The decision stemmed from creative disagreements with the production team. A source close to the situation shared, 'Diljit was thrilled about the opportunity to work alongside Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. However, in recent weeks, he found it challenging to align with the film's creative direction, leading to his departure.'

Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor, this sequel follows the success of the 2005 film 'No Entry,' which starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan. The production was initially slated to begin in October 2024, with a release planned for late 2025.

In addition, actress Tamannaah Bhatia is rumored to be joining the cast, potentially taking on a role reminiscent of Bipasha Basu's character from the original film, although this has yet to be officially confirmed.

On another note, Diljit is currently finalizing his work on 'Sardaarji 3' and is set to appear in 'Border 2,' where he will share the screen with Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. This film will depict the 1971 India-Pakistan war, with Diljit portraying Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, an Indian Air Force officer who was awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery during the conflict.

Recently, Diljit made a memorable appearance at the 2025 Met Gala, showcasing a stunning ensemble by Prabal Gurung. Staying true to his Punjabi heritage, he donned traditional attire, including a turban, kurta, and tehmat, complemented by a cape featuring Gurumukhi script and a sword.
