The Dhurandhar franchise is dominating the box office, captivating audiences with its thrilling narrative. The sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, premiered on March 19 and is on track to become the highest-grossing Indian film of all time. Fans are particularly impressed with Ranveer Singh's performance, and as the film marks its 17th day in theaters, it is poised to surpass the Rs 1000 crore net milestone in India.
Box Office Performance on Day 17
This spy action thriller has sustained its impressive momentum into its third week, rapidly approaching the Rs 1000 crore benchmark in India. Featuring Ranveer Singh as the lead, the film narrates the origin story of his character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi. According to the latest figures from Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 garnered Rs 25.65 crore on its 17th day, which fell on a Saturday. After a minor decline during the weekdays, the film has rebounded strongly over the third weekend, accumulating Rs 985.02 crore to date.
Since its release, Dhurandhar 2 has seen its fan base expand significantly. Recently, superstar Rajinikanth praised the film, referring to director Aditya Dhar as 'box office ka baap.' Other notable filmmakers and actors, including Ram Gopal Varma, SS Rajamouli, Rakesh Roshan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, and Jr NTR, have also commended the movie.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues the journey of Ranveer Singh's character, Hamza Ali Mazari/Jaskirat Singh Rangi, as he ventures into Karachi, Pakistan, aiming to become the King of Lyari and dismantle terrorism's roots in India. The film features a stellar cast, including R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, and Rakesh Bedi. This action-packed espionage drama has been released in five languages: Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. The Hindi version has been the most successful, contributing Rs 63.00 crore on its 11th day. Additionally, the Kannada version added Rs 0.38 crore, while the Malayalam version brought in Rs 0.22 crore on the film's second Sunday. The Tamil version collected Rs 1.50 crore, and the Telugu version earned Rs 3.00 crore. On the professional front, Ranveer is set to star in a zombie thriller titled Pralay, which will mark the theatrical debut of filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s son, Jai Mehta.
